N’Kosi is a holistic fitness specialist, martial artist and energy healer. He is the Director/Owner of MOTIVATE! Holistic Fitness and Wellness and Founder of Urban Tantra. This Washington, DC native has studied varying forms of massage, acupressure, acupuncture, bodywork, Taoism & Tantra, and several martial arts to fine tune his intuitive spirit.
N’Kosi feels that Taoist and Tantric practices are naturally a part of our day-to-day lives and works to not teach but help others remember their own natural healing through these practices. N’Kosi enjoys a healthy love for and proficiencies in Tae Kwon Do, Hapkido, Aikido, Juijitsu, Capoeira Regional and Capoeira Angola for more than 22 years. He’s also taught acrobatics and gymnastics for the past 15 years and has had active practice of Taoist & Tantric skills for 20 years.
Mr. Ayize has dedicated his life to the spiritual and martial aspects of life for holistic wellness. N’Kosi has a beautiful earth-spirited young son, a phenomenal co-parent and a host of brothers in the spirit who fill his life with joy!
Urban Tantra is a holistic health project that was built on the ancient practices of the Taoist and Tantric healing traditions to bring greater levels of awareness and access to these and other sacred practices of sensual and spiritual development to all who seek it using modern and intuitive sciences to teach and deliver the most ancient healing arts.
UT offers holistic health counseling for individuals, couples and group retreats. We offer workshops on subjects of Understanding Sensuality and Re-kindling the spirit of intimacy couples consult, massage therapy, and Male & Female Essence cultivation counseling and instruction. You will journey deep into the wisdom of Taoist, Tantric and Kundalini practices; Masculine and Feminine Essence/Chi Cultivation; Build tangible skills to increase your sensual pleasure and play; learn proven techniques to address erectile dysfunction, early ejaculation, frigidity, sexual dissatisfaction, anxiety and trauma. Sensuality IS Spirituality and Spirituality IS a natural pathway to Healing!
A Native of Dallas, TX, Jorge has chosen to devote *his/her life to self-discovery, intellectualism, and creation; analyzing, crafting, and exhibiting actions to ensure ALL people are viable economically, culturally, socially, and politically; in his lifetime. S/he views his/her own life as performance art and envisions a world where all creatures can live peacefully and exercise the “dignity of choice”.
Currently residing in Washington, D.C., s/he is the Founder and Chief Creative Consultant for JorgePRSNTS, a boutique design and innovation-consulting firm that utilize human-centered, design based approaches to offer what Jorge refers to as, “strategic panache”. Sh/e is also employed full-time as a Community Health Worker (CHW) for Capital Clinical Integrated Network (CCIN) where he guides those infected and affected by HIV/AIDS.
As a public intellectual, Jorge’s polycultural perspective has also led him/her to many rewarding opportunities to engage and serve her/his chosen communities; most recently as the Facilitator in Residence for, The ManDate DC. ‘ManDate’ as it’s affectionately known by participants hosts monthly discussion groups and culminates in an annual health and wellness conference designed to “impact sexual health outcomes and influence healthy life choices for African American gay and bisexual men and their social and sexual networks.”
